FIELD: machine building.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of transport engineering, namely to steering systems for vehicles, and can be used in the design and manufacture of hydraulic power steering vehicles. Device consists of pipeline 1, inside which is working fluid 2, and in its body – along the entire length of pipeline 1 – insets 3 having a coefficient of thermal conductivity higher than the main material of pipeline 1 are made. Inserts 2, on the one hand, contact working fluid 2, located inside pipeline 1, and on the other, with the air of the surrounding space. Length of the outer parts of inserts 3 – greater than half the outer diameter of pipeline 1 – is sufficient to organize intensive heat exchange with the air of the surrounding space. Inserts 3 are rigidly fixed in the body of pipeline 1 by any of the known methods – soldering, welding, pasting, pressing, and the like. When the temperature of liquid 2 increases, for example, due to the intensification of the operation of the HPS, inserts 3 begin to play the role of local cooling radiators.
EFFECT: provides increased efficiency of cooling the fluid in the power steering.
