FIELD: physics.
SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to embodiments of air flow control through vehicle power steering system, namely to systems for preventing overheating of power steering system. In one example, the system comprises an engine cooling fan based on the angle of rotation of the steering wheel and engine rpm.
EFFECT: cooling fan can be operated for a certain period of time on the basis of steering wheel turn angle and engine rpm that allows avoiding necessity to use special temperature sensor of hydraulic fluid of steering control amplifier and to prevent overheating of power steering system.
