FIELD: machine building.

SUBSTANCE: invention is related to the field of machine building, namely to transport means with liquid system of internal combustion engine cooling. Brake comprises brake drum, brake blocks with friction and fuel line pads and is connected to liquid system of internal combustion engine cooling. On self-pressing and self-releasing brake blocks there are fuel line pads in medium part with different working area of surface and are heat-insulated from their base. Every pad is joined by means of additional fuel lines that have different cross section to the main insulated fuel line of every brake mechanism, the second ends of the main fuel line are non-insulated and are connected to distributive tank of internal combustion engine cooling system. Method for conductive-liquid cooling consists in reduction and leveling of thermal load on brake friction units and provision of temperature difference between working surfaces of heat conducting pads and ends of insulated additional fuel lines that are connected to the main insulated fuel line and between insulated and non-insulated ends of the main fuel line. Ratio of working areas of fuel line pads of self-pressing and self-releasing brake blocks is equal to ratio of their volume temperatures. Liquid that washes non-insulated ends of the main fuel line may circulate along small and large circuit of cooling system.

EFFECT: reduction of level and balancing of thermal load on friction units of drum-block brake by means of their cooling intensification.
