Apparatus comprises an area converter for converting an audio signal representation in a first area in the representation of the audio signal in the second area and the harmonic post filter to filter the presentation of the audio signal in the second area, the postfilter is based on a transfer function containing the numerator and denominator, wherein the numerator contains the gain value indicated by the gain information, and the denominator contains an integer part of the pitch lag, which is indicated by the pitch lag information, and a multi-tap filter which depends on the fractional part of the pitch lag.

EFFECT: technical result consists in providing filtering of the audio signal.
