SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a method and apparatus for synchronous high-speed photography of microparticle rotation in a hydrocyclone field, in particular to a method and a device for determining the rotation speed of a microparticle in a hydrocyclone field by using a combination of a synchronous high-speed photography system and a transparent microparticle containing two centrosymmetrically located inner cores of the same diameter. Claimed method comprises: using a transparent microparticle comprising two internal cores having the same diameter and centrosymmetrically arranged as a particle for the rotational test; synchronous reception of two groups of series of two-dimensional images of the motion of a microparticle in the field of a hydrocyclone using two perpendicularly located high-speed digital cameras; and reconstruction of the three-dimensional trajectory of the movement of microparticles from two groups of series of synchronous images and simultaneously determination of the rotation speed of the microparticle in the cyclone field. Disclosure also provides a device for synchronous high-speed photography of the rotation of the microparticle in the field of the hydrocyclone.
EFFECT: providing a means for measuring the rotational speed of a microparticle in a fluid having a low viscosity and high turbulence.
