SUBSTANCE: device for welding pipes from thermoplastic refers to the processing of plastics and is designed to connect the formed parts using heating. It contains a centralizer, mounted on a frame with guide rods and clamps, hydraulic pump with electric drive, face and heater, and also includes a registration and/or control unit. New in the device is that the length of the guide rods is increased to such lengths that it is possible to machine the outer surfaces of the pipes to be welded or pipes and parts without an embedded heater, and also to install between the clamps of the centralizer and to put on the ends of the welded pipes fixed in these clamps without the embedded heater the connecting parts with embedded heaters. Variant is a device which, as an auxiliary equipment, is provided with a sweep unit with an electric drive or with a manual drive. Variant is a device which, as an auxiliary equipment, is equipped with a facelift.

EFFECT: device functionality enhancement and optimization of the process of assembling the pipe joint.
