FIELD: protective devices.
SUBSTANCE: present invention discloses an optical security device using a full parallax diffractive optical variable image, comprising a base layer and an optical unit at least partially covering one of the surfaces of the base layer and comprising such a moth-eye structure, so that the optical unit represents a complete parallax image when exposed to the microrelief structure by illuminating the optical unit with white light.
EFFECT: in the present invention, the moth-eye structure is obtained by combining the phase plate and provides a complete parallax diffractive optical variable image under white light illumination.
