IN-PIPE SELF-PROPELLED VEHICLE Russian patent published in 2018 - IPC F16L55/34 B62D57/32

Abstract RU 2665502 C2

FIELD: fault detection.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of flaw detection and can be used for diagnostic purposes and partial repair of defective areas of the internal surface of pipelines at nuclear power plants, heat supply systems, gas supply, as well as other types of pipeline transport. In-pipe self-propelled vehicle comprises a front, back and middle support belts. Outer surfaces of the belts are provided with annular elastic brake air chambers, and the end surfaces are connected to each other by a reciprocating drive, made in the form of a bellows annular cross-section and located on the longitudinal axis with a restrictive cable. Middle support belt is located in the middle part of the pneumosilphone, the left and right sections of which are attached to the end faces of the middle belt. At the forward end of the front support belt, an eccentric mechanism with a drive located inside the supporting cylindrical frame is mounted, as well as a system of self-wedging support elements made in the form of longitudinal brush guides, removed from the supporting frame by springs and connected in pairs by levers. Frame is made in the form of a squirrel wheel.

EFFECT: technical result: the possibility of increasing the linear speed of movement on straight sections of the pipe system in idling mode, as well as preventing the hanging and failure of the in-pipe self-propelled vehicle on vertical sections of the pipe system.
