FIELD: technological processes.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a method for preparing betulin dincinnamate by acylation of betulin in which cinnamic acid is used as an acylating agent, wherein acylation is carried out by fusing betulin with cinnamic acid at a temperature of 220–230 °C for 5–7 minutes with a molar ratio of betulin to cinnamic acid equal to 1:4, followed by recrystallization of the desired product from ethanol. .
EFFECT: new method for preparing betulin dicynnamate is proposed, which shortens the duration of the process and eliminates the use of expensive and toxic reagents.
