FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a method for producing allobetulin succinate of formula: by acylation of allobetulin with purification of the desired product by dissolving in chloroform and passing through an alumina column, succinic acid is used as an acylating agent, wherein the acylation is carried out by melting allobetulin with succinic acid at a temperature of 220–230 °C for 3–5 minutes at a molar ratio of allobetulin to succinic acid of 1:2, after purification by boiling in chloroform, the desired product is boiled with activated carbon and then passed through alumina.
EFFECT: developed is a new method for producing allobetulin succinate, which reduces the duration of the production process, eliminates expensive and toxic reagents.
