FIELD: technological processes.

SUBSTANCE: complex device consists of at least one flow former to which waste water is supplied, differing in temperature and/or chemical composition from water in a natural body of water. Each separate thread former can be located at a specified area horizontally or vertically, or at an angle to the approach flow. Each separate flow-forming device can be installed on any horizon and in any part of the vestibule that feeds the channel of a water intake structure, a river, a reservoir or any other source of water. Flow generator or several flow formers can cover the entire flow of the flow approaching to the water intake, or each separate water intake window, or a part of the flow approaching to the water intake, horizontally, or vertically, or at an angle to the approach flow. For water supply, the flow-forming device has holes of any shape, or flow-forming nozzles having outlet holes of any shape and configuration. Flow generator can have flow-forming ejection nozzles or ejectors (one ejector for several nozzles) to mix the supplied waste water and water from a natural reservoir. Geometric dimensions and the angle of installation of each individual flow conditioner to the approach flow can be any and vary within the same device. Number of rows of holes/nozzles/ejection nozzles/ejectors in each separate flow former and the number of holes/nozzles/ejection nozzles/ejectors in each individual row can be from 1 or more and vary within the same device. Holes/nozzles/ejection nozzles/ejectors can be located on the flow-forming device horizontally or vertically in a line, in stepwise order, in staggered order or in any other arbitrary order. Angle of installation of each individual holes/nozzles/ejection nozzles/ejectors of the flow-forming device, the geometric dimensions of the holes and the distance between them, the diameter of the hole/nozzle/ejector of each individual nozzle and the distance between them can be any and vary within the same device. Claimed method of using waste water is carried out by means of the above-described complex device.

EFFECT: group of inventions provides an increase in the effectiveness of preventing frazilization and ice formation at a given site in a given period, preventing the formation of vortex and vortex zones in the area of action of the device, ensuring a uniform mixing of the supplied water with water in the water intake precursor, the supply channel, the river or any other water source, reducing the negative impact on fish and preventing their disorientation and death, ensuring the protection of fish by calling the response of fish to external stimuli (change in speed, temperature, chemical composition, flow direction) and the independent withdrawal of fish from the area of action of the device or the forced removal of fish from the area of action of the device by the flow of water created by the flow-forming agent (flow-formers).
