FIELD: radio engineering and communications.
SUBSTANCE: invention is intended for use as part of radio engineering devices of television, radio broadcasting and radio communication through artificial satellites of the Earth in the geostationary orbit, in the centimeter and millimeter wave bands. Antenna consists of a basic mirror (reflector) in the form of a conducting surface formed by rotating an asymmetrical branch of the parabola around the axis, perpendicular to the focal axis of the parabola, an auxiliary mirror (counter reflector) in the form of a conducting surface formed by the rotation of the branch of the hyperbola, the first focus of which coincides with the focus of the parabola, around the axis coinciding with the axis of rotation of the parabola, and the system of irradiators located on the arc of the circle formed by the second foci of the hyperbola. Counter-reflector is formed by the rotation of the branch of the hyperbola, convex away from the parabola. In the first variant of the antenna, the reflector and the arc of the irradiators are located on opposite sides of the counter-reflector, in the second variant of the antenna the arc of the irradiators and the counter-reflector are located on opposite sides of the reflector. Special case of the second variant is an antenna in which the rotated branches of the parabola and the hyperbola intersect, and the reflector and the counter-reflector form a single whole. In the first and second versions of the antenna, the rotated branch of the hyperbola can be degenerated into a straight line.
EFFECT: reduction of cross-polarization radiation with simultaneous increase in the noise quality factor of the system.
