FIELD: technological processes.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the treatment of metals by pressure, in particular to the thermomechanical treatment of two-phase titanium alloys, and is intended for the production of flat products used in the aircraft industry, as well as in machine building. Method of manufacturing plates from two-phase (α+β)-titanium alloys, including hot deformation of the ingot into the slab, hot rolling of the slab, straightening of the plate obtained on the correct machine and its subsequent heat treatment. Hot rolling of the slab is carried out in four stages, while in the first stage the rolling is carried out in (α+β)-regions, on the second – in β-regions, on the third – in (α+β)-regions, and on the fourth – at a temperature of 30–180 °C below the temperature of the polymorphic transformation (Tpt) of the alloy, with subsequent cooling of the plate obtained in the rocking mode on the roller table to a temperature of 150–200 °C and further cooling in air to room temperature. Correction of the obtained plate is carried out in a roller right machine during temperature cooling (Tpt–50) °C up to 500 °C, and the heat treatment is carried out by annealing in an oven at a temperature range (Tpt–200) °C…(Tpt–250) °C and holding for at least 2 hours, after which the plate is cooled in the rocking mode on the roller table to a temperature of 150–200 °C and then in air to room temperature.
EFFECT: method makes it possible to obtain plates with a high productivity with a minimum level of internal residual stresses and non-flatness, using the standard equipment of the rolling shop.
