FIELD: metallurgy.

SUBSTANCE: method of manufacture of plates from the high-alloyed titanium alloy Ti-5Al-5Mo-5V-3Cr comprises deformation of ingot into slab by forging at the temperatures in β- and (α+β)-areas, at final deformation in (α+β)-areas, consecutive rolling of the slab in β- and (α+β)-areas. The first hot rolling is performed the degree of deformation 50÷90% after heating of the slab up to one temperature at 80÷120°C higher than Tcr and with cooling of the obtained hot-rolled breakdown down to room temperature, and the second hot rolling is perfoemd with the degree of deformation 40÷80% after heating up to the temperature 30÷50°C lower than Tcr. Then slabs are annealed at the temperature 510÷590°C and the period 6-10 hours. The ultrasonic inspection and finishing heat treatment are performed at the temperature 700-750°C and hold up time 0.5-1.5 hours with cooling in air. At the stage of ultrasonic inspection the level of acoustic structural noise is minimised.

EFFECT: obtaining of homogeneous structure in slabs, stability and uniformity of mechanical properties.
