FIELD: aviation.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to aviation, in particular to aircraft mooring systems. Method for detecting a tie-down device attached to rotorcraft includes detecting, with a sensor, attachment of the rotorcraft tie-down device, generating notification of the presence of a rotorcraft tie-down device. System comprises a first sensor coupled to the rotorcraft tie-down device for detecting if the tie-down device is coupled to a fastener, a processor coupled to the sensor and generating a hazard warning.
EFFECT: alerting the crew and higher safety.
