ROTARY-WINGED AIRCRAFT MAIN ROTOR BLADE WITH IMPROVED AIRCRAFT PERFORMANCE Russian patent published in 2017 - IPC B64C27/615

Abstract RU 2631758 C2

FIELD: aviation.

SUBSTANCE: main rotor blade contains the inner part of the blade and at least one control surface connected to the inner part of the blade. The control surface is designed to increase the blade inner part lifting force by changing the blade inner part angle of attack rotation independently from the main rotor blade rest part. The system is configured to detect the high directed speed of the rotary-winged aircraft and deployment of at least one control surface in response to the mentioned high speed detection.

EFFECT: it is able to eliminate or reduce the probability of the blade slap at the rotary wing.
