FIELD: engines and pumps.
SUBSTANCE: engine includes a stator having a central stator housing (A1), a first side cover (A2) and a second side cover. The stator housing (A1) includes an expansion chamber and a compression chamber, as well as an ignition chamber at the top of the chambers, a rotor (B) with a rotary expansion element (B1), a rotary compression element (B2) and a hinge line element (B3), installed between the said rotary expansion element (B1) and the rotary compression element (B2). The rotor (B) is located in the expansion and compression chambers of the central stator housing (A1), where the expansion chamber has a concave inner surface, and the compression chamber has a convex inner surface.
EFFECT: maximum utilisation of power by using the best ratio between the expansion and compression volumes with the balance of dimensions and engine power.
