SUBSTANCE: method for automated control of the operation of an unmanned aircraft for flights in common airspace, which combines all stages of the life cycle, each is equipped with an onboard automatic control system, satellite navigation system, high-precision synchronized clocks, an on-board calculator and a transceiver station for digital radio communication with a radio base station, with a fixed or mobile control points that are equipped with an operator's automated workstation. For each unmanned aircraft, a digital passport of technical condition is created, including all stages of the life cycle, located on the portal of the technical state of the air traffic control service and updated online, and the management service uses these data to admit or continue a flight of the unmanned aircraft on the basis of the received information on the technical condition and traffic of the air defense system ensuring its safety, assessment of the technical condition of the unmanned aircraft for accident-free flight, using criteria for estimating the residual resource, and these assessments are carried out automatically and all changes are taken into account, modifications and replacements of the unmanned aircraft equipment, indicating the place, time and nature of the changes made and the results of the control tests of these changes, as well as the entire operation history, stored on the portal for a specific unmanned aircraft, and the adjustment of the flight traffic for execution of a flight program and elimination of collisions is automatic, using information obtained from the traffic line on the traffic of other unmanned aircrafts that such information is reported over the communication line, and air traffic control services and external operators monitor the execution of flight traffic and adjust the unmanned aircraft traffic.

EFFECT: provides security and assessment of an unmanned aircraft technical condition.
