FIELD: aircraft engineering.
SUBSTANCE: aerodynamic surface of an aircraft contains a main part with front and trailing edges, made with an aerodynamic profile, as well as vortex generators in the form of teeth with edges along the length. Teeth are mounted on the leading edge of the main part with the possibility of generating two vortex bundles per tooth. Tooth edges are adjacent to the leading edge of the main part of the aerodynamic surface. Radius of each tooth edge along the length of the vortex generator is five times smaller than the radius of the leading edge of the main part.
EFFECT: invention is aimed at increasing load-bearing capacity of the aerodynamic surface by generating adjacent vortex bundles on one of its sides.
