FIELD: agriculture; engineering industry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to agricultural engineering industry. Device comprises a frame with an active excavating body and a beater mounted on it. Excavating body is made in the form of a rotor made of round bars, installed with an interbar distance over the outside diameter, smaller than the minimum diameter of the onions. Behind beater is made in the form of a pipe along the perimeter of which along the longitudinal axis tubes with rigidly fixed bunches of elastic-elastic rods forming at the intersection of the lower and upper cones are uniformly and rigidly fixed. Diameter of the base of the upper cone is less than the minimum diameter of the onions.
EFFECT: quality of the harvested onion is improved by reducing the damage, improving the process of separation of onions from soil impurities, and reducing the labor costs for post-harvest processing.
