SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the construction of an aeration system. Aeration system for impeller (10) of the hydraulic turbine comprises a plurality of blades (2). Between each pair of blades (2), interlobate channels are formed to allow air to enter the water flow circulating through the hydraulic turbine. In addition, the aeration system comprises at least one hydrodynamic profile element (12) disposed in the interlobate channel of impeller (10) and in contact with pair of blades (2) forming interlobate channel in which element (12) is disposed. Element (12) has a non-axisymmetric profile, and at least one of blades (2) in contact with element (12) has an aeration channel supplying air to element (12).
EFFECT: invention is aimed at increasing the level of dissolved oxygen contained in water circulating through a hydraulic turbine and minimizing the impact on the operating parameters of the turbine.
