FIELD: hydraulic power engineering. SUBSTANCE: water conduits under increased pressure of air are located along stator generatrix. Arranged is stator is rotor made in form of polyhedron with fixed plate blades of similar length. Blades form inter-blade chambers together with stator. Stator is cylindrical in shape and water conduits are straight-flow. Rotor is mounted coaxially in stator-provided with U-shaped air duct for air communication of stator parts adjoining the water conduits and transfer of air circulation beyond the stator limits. Upper portion of air duct is located at the level of water-head. Water is supplied to the chambers from water-head and waste water is discharged to tail-water. Part of waste water drops in reverse direction: from tail-water to water-head. EFFECT: enhanced reliability. 3 cl, 4 dwg
