SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a technology for refining a petrochemical feedstock using an extraction method. Method for cleaning petroleum products from sulfides with polymers involves adding a solution of the polymer to the petroleum product solution with stirring, the oil product is added, with stirring, to a polymer impregnated with a selective solvent, such as dimethylformamide, ethylene glycol, dimethylsulfoxide, furfuryl alcohol, at a weight ratio of an impregnated polymer: oil product of 1:4 to 4:1, and the precipitated impregnated polymer is separated. As the polymer, a gel-like extractant, a cross-linked polymer based on polyvinylpyrrolidone and polyacrylamide, can be selected. As a mineral oil, a diesel fraction is used.
