FIELD: organic chemistry. SUBSTANCE: method comprises removing coal-tar chemical industry benzene and benzene resulting from fractions of pyrolysis of petroleum products, from impurities of saturated and unsaturated hydrocarbons, thiophene and carbon disulfide. Benzene is removed from saturated, unsaturated nonaromatic hydrocarbons, thiophene and carbon disulfide by extractive rectification using mixture of dimethylformamide and toluene as extracting agent at weight ratio of dimethylformamide and toluene as extracting agent at weight ratio of dimethylformamide, 90-95 and toluene, 5-10. EFFECT: more efficient purification method. 4 ex, 4 tbl, 1 dwg
