FIELD: storage.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to devices for storing liquefied gases. Sealed and thermally insulated tank is mounted in a supporting structure having plurality of support walls (1, 2), comprising a plurality of tank walls fixed to respective supporting walls. Tank wall comprises heat-insulating barrier (3, 5) with a flat support surface parallel to the corresponding supporting wall. Sealed barrier (4, 6) is supported by an insulating barrier and comprises a repeating structure, alternately consisting of extended lining metal strip (8, 108, 208) and extended welded flange (9) attached to the support surface and projecting relative to the support surface. Weld flange (9) extends parallel to lining metal strip (8) for at least part of the length of the lining metal strip. Lining metal strip comprises, in the width direction, a flat central portion located on the support surface, and lateral edges (13) bent upward relative to the support surface and placed opposite adjacent welded flanges and hermetically welded to welded flanges (9). Lining metal strip extends between two opposite edges of the tank wall and has two end portions, each of which is hermetically mounted to respective restrictive structure (10, 27, 28) at said edges of the tank wall. Strip consists of a continuous metal strip having multiple longitudinal sections of different thickness, the longitudinal portions comprising intermediate portion (113, 35) and at least one end portion (114, 33), the thickness of which is greater than the thickness of the intermediate portion of the strip. End portion (114, 33) of greater thickness forms a mounting area for mounting the strip to restraining structure (10) or to another continuous metal strip joined end to end with the first continuous metal strip.

EFFECT: technical result is a decrease in the metal consumption of the structure and an increase in the reliability of the storage of liquefied gas.
