FIELD: liquefied gas storage.
SUBSTANCE: storage and/or transportation system for liquefied gas. The system includes a container for contact with liquefied gas, the container being made up of metal plates welded together to ensure a pressure-tight joint. At least one of the said metal plates is made of an alloy based on iron and manganese, which contains, wt.%: 25.0 ≤ Mn ≤ 32.0, 7.0 ≤ Cr ≤ 14.0, 0 ≤ Ni ≤ 2.5, 0.05 ≤ N ≤ 0.30, 0.1 ≤ Si ≤ 0.5, as required 0.010 ≤ rare earth elements ≤ 0.14, the balance is iron and residual elements obtained from production.
EFFECT: required level of properties at low temperatures and contact with liquefied gas.
