FIELD: technological processes.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to devices for creating cavitation in a flow of liquid and viscous media for influencing them for the purpose of directional change in their properties and can be used for various technological processes (grinding, dispersion, emulsification, homogenization, mixing, mechanochemical activation, disinfection, heating, etc.). Disk cavitational apparatus for processing liquid and viscous media contains a housing with channels for supplying liquid to the center of the working chamber and channels for outputting the processed product. Inside the working chamber, two discs fixed to the drive shafts and rotating one towards the other are coaxially mounted. Each cavity has two cavitating elements arranged in different concentric rows, which do not interact with each other during rotation.
EFFECT: invention provides a significant increase in efficiency and a reduction in the energy intensity of cavitation treatment of liquid and viscous media, increase the shelf life of the finished product due to the high degree of decontamination, highly efficient dispersion and homogenization of the product.
