FIELD: electrical engineering.

SUBSTANCE: electric drive of the mechanism of lifting of the tower crane with parametric regulation consisting of the basic asynchronous electric motor with phase rotor (9), with four groups of power contactors (4-7) and additional resistances in the rotor circuits, an auxiliary asynchronous electric motor with two windings (10, 11) on the stator, commander (1), power contactors (4–7) in the stator circuits of both electric motors and load limiting device (2). In the electric circuit of the main electric motor, stator and rotor (9) current sensors are included. Additionally, microprocessor (13) is installed, the inputs of which are connected to the control outputs of controller (1), stator current sensors, the outputs of load limiting device (2). Outputs of microprocessor (13) are connected to the control inputs of power contactors (4–7) installed in the stator and rotor circuits of the main electric motor and the stator circuits of the auxiliary.

EFFECT: optimization of technical characteristics of the crane lifting mechanism drive is achieved.
