FIELD: turning; drilling.

SUBSTANCE: chuck comprises body (1) provided with cylindrical bore (4) being concentric with rotation axis (2) of body, wherein circumferential surfaces of clamping portion (7) of the bore are adapted for securing a tool in the chuck. Chuck is provided with auxiliary means for preventing pull-out and rotation, comprising attachment member (12) which can be positioned in an inner portion of bore (4) and can be attached to shank portion (5) to be clamped, such that tool (6) and attachment member will be prevented from being pulled out in the axial direction, and will be prevented from being rotated in at least one direction in relation to each other. Chuck body (1) also comprises an axial pull out preventing means and a rotary preventing means in at least one direction, arranged to engage with the attachment member.

EFFECT: higher reliability of fastening the tool.
