SUBSTANCE: present invention relates to a catalyst for selective reduction of nitrogen oxides, having two catalytically active layers A and B, wherein layer A contains an oxide carrier, as well as components A1 and A2, and layer B contains an oxide carrier, as well as components B1, B2 and B3, where A1 and B1 are at least one vanadium oxide, A2 and B2 are at least one tungsten oxide and B3 is at least one silicon oxide, characterised in that the proportion of component A1 in layer A in wt% based on the total weight of said layer A is greater than the proportion of component B1 in layer B in wt%, based on the total weight said layer B, and the proportion of layer A in wt%, based on the total weight of layers A and B, is greater than that of layer B. Also disclosed are a method for reducing nitrogen oxides in exhaust gases of lean-burn internal combustion engines using said catalyst, an exhaust gas emission reduction system having the above-mentioned catalyst and a method for reducing content of nitrogen oxides in exhaust gases using such a system.
EFFECT: obtaining catalysts for selective reduction of nitrogen oxides, having good low-temperature activity and at the same time high high-temperature selectivity.
