FIELD: engine building.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the pulsed type electric propulsion engines and based on them PS, using liquid-phase working bodies. Propulsion system with pulsed electric propulsion engine consists of pulsed action EPE with electrodes and linear discharge gap on the movable surface itself, liquid working body storage tank, working body supply pipeline with the supply pump to the capillary wick before the discharge gap, after the discharge gap with movable surface, a wick is contacting, communicated with the working body suction pipeline, equipped with pump and connected to the working body storage tank, charger and the capacitive type storage capacitor. According to the invention, the pulsed EPE discharge gaps are made on the cylindrical surface of at least two capacitors with plates on the disks with high dielectric permittivity side surfaces, included into the capacitive storage, with installed in these gaps intermediate electrodes, connected into the series circuit.

EFFECT: installed on the of the disks side surfaces capacitive storage plates are spaced from the discharge gaps electrodes, installed on the disk cylindrical surface, to the distance preventing the electrical breakdown between them.
