FIELD: engine building.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to electrically reactive pulsed action engines using liquid-phase working medium as working medium. Engine consists of anode and cathode with discharge gap of linear type, formed on cylindrical surface of dielectric moistened with liquid-phase working medium. Working surface of the cylindrical-type dielectric and the discharge gap with the cathode and anode electrodes installed on the insulator are movable. Possibility of displacement of the insulator containing a cathode and an anode along the side surface of a cylindrical-type dielectric moistened with a liquid-phase working medium provides for changes in the direction of the thrust vector.
EFFECT: disclosed is pulsed plasma electric jet engine.
