SUBSTANCE: dowel (1) has screw (13), dowel sleeve (2) and holding plate (8). In order to provide a compact deliverable retractable dowel, the invention proposes holding plate (8) axially fixed and rotatable with dowel sleeve (2), and dowel sleeve (2) having in shank portion (4) reduction zone (22) such that it is plastically compressible by tightening screw (13) in anchoring of dowel (1) in substrate (26).
EFFECT: invention relates to dowel (1) and an installation method for fixing insulating materials (25).
