FIELD: construction.

SUBSTANCE: rail fixture is removed, a dowel seat is cleaned from dirt and moisture, a screw fragment is soaked with a penetrant agent against rust, and after the agent penetrates into the thread, it is wiped dry with rags. Then using a core, a notch is made in the centre of the screw fragment, in the screw centre a hole is made with the diameter of 4 mm, with depth of 30 mm, which is then drilled down to the diameter of 8 mm, with subsequent removal of chips. Afterwards the end of the working tool is placed in the hole, and further the force is applied to it for unscrewing. The method of sleepers repair according to the second version consists in the fact that a rail joint is removed, the sleeper is bored in the place, where a dowel is installed with a broken screw, and the drilled part of concrete with the polymer dowel and the screw remainder is withdrawn. Then glue is applied on the wall of the produced hole with subsequent installation of the dowel in it, or a double-component glue is placed in the hole with subsequent screwing of the dowel into the hole. Afterwards, soaking is carried out prior to assembly of the rail joint.
