FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: present invention relates to a porous membrane used for blood purification, which comprises a hydrophilic polymer with a content of at least 0.5 wt% and up to 8 wt%, in which the pores formed on one surface meet the following conditions (A) and (B): (A) the average ratio of the longer diameter to the shorter pore diameter is at least 3, and (B) the average shorter pore diameter ranges from at least 5 nm and up to 20 nm and the standard deviation is up to 4 nm, in which the pores formed on the other surface meet the following conditions (C) and (D): (C), the average ratio of the longer diameter to the shorter pore diameter is at least 1.5, and (D) the average shorter pore diameter ranges from at least 0.2 mcm and up to 0.6 mcm, where the porosity of the surface formed by the pores that meet conditions (A) and (B) ranges from at least 1 % and up to 10 %; the membrane is a hollow fibre membrane; the surface that has pores that meet conditions (A) and (B) is an inner surface. Also described is a method for producing said porous membrane, and a blood purification module accommodating said porous membrane is also described.
EFFECT: obtaining a porous membrane, simultaneously demonstrating high water permeability and high efficiency of protein fractionation.
