SUBSTANCE: invention relates to electrical engineering and can be used in engines powered by an inverter. In the method for reducing the noise of engine (1), powered by inverter (2), to reduce noise generation, it is proposed to change magnetic flux (Φ) in engine (1) in such a way that production of main fluctuation of magnetic flux (Φ) to higher harmonic of magnetic flux is decreased (Φ). In addition, it is proposed to additionally or alternatively change the voltage (Us) on engine (1) and / or the frequency (fp) of pulses and / or voltage (UZK) of intermediate circuit.

EFFECT: technical result is to reduce of engine noise.
