FIELD: technological processes.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the aluminum production electrolytic cell cathode device lining method and device. Method comprises materials laying simultaneously with their distribution on the base surface and leveling by the level counted from the electrolytic cell cathode device casing upper edge plane by the unshaped lining materials installation device sequential movement along the electrolytic cell cathode longitudinal axis. Sequentially forming two and/or more lining layers with varying physical and operational properties. Device is made in the form of the equipped with mechanical drive bridge for movement and along the perimeter equipped with scaffolding with fences. Bridge has guides, on which a frame with cassettes, each of which is equipped with a gate, is placed with possibility of vertical movement. Bridge mechanical drive is mounted on both ends, each of which includes two wide drive rollers, which are driven by the geared motor using chain drives equipped with tensioning devices for reversible gears. Bridge is equipped with discretely adjustable thrust rollers. Frame is equipped with two sets of smoothly adjustable guide rollers. On the frame guides, the traction screws are pivotally suspended engaging with the pivotally attached to the frame nuts. Each cassette is provided with equipped with the mechanical drive sectoral belt-roller gate.
EFFECT: reduction of labor costs during the material distribution over the base surface, improvement of the personnel sanitary and hygienic working conditions due to the material dusting reduction and improvement of the cell base mounting quality by increase in the accuracy during the layers leveling; enabling the cathode casing installation quality, increase in the cell lifetime, and reduction in the lining material costs and dusting.
