FIELD: technological processes.

SUBSTANCE: invention can be used for welding the ends of reinforcement for reinforced concrete structures. Fixed and movable parts 2, 3 of body 1 are provided with upper and lower clamps 4, 5 in the form of current-carrying electrodes. Machine has a device for removing the bead, hydraulic drive 6 clamps and move the moving part, welding transformer 11. Liquid system for cooling the welding transformer and the lower clamps of the fixed and moving parts includes three conduits 12, coolant tank 13, radiator 14, pump 15, fan 16 and diffuser 17. Device for removing the bead consists of two identical carbon-steel elements 20 in the form of a semicircle with cutting edges facing each other. Control system includes control board 21 with buttons, indicating and programming board 22, touch screen 23, moving part sensor 24 and performance meter 25 in the form of an encoder. Table processor provides input, saving and execution of fusion or resistance welding programs.

EFFECT: invention provides achievement of full automation of the welding process, reduction of labor costs and energy consumption with simplification of the machine design and its maintenance.
