SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of pipeline transport. Method comprises lining the metal pipe with a plastic pipe, removing the ends of the plastic pipe from the ends of the metal tube by the length, exceeding the length of the thermal destruction zone of the plastic pipe from the heat of welding, fixing the ends of the plastic pipe at the ends of the metal tube with bushings. Bushing is made of a material that is close to the material of the metal pipe. Bushing is provided with a groove with a diameter smaller than the inner diameter of the plastic tube. Surface of the sleeve is coated with a polymer anticorrosion coating. Groove of the bushing is filled with a glue composition. End of the plastic pipe is heated to a length of at least the length of the groove to a temperature that ensures maximum adhesion of the plastic with the adhesive composition. Install the bushing with the adhesive compound into the inner cavity of the ends of the metal pipe and partially into the heated end of the plastic pipe by the length of the groove. Then, press the adhesive composition to the inner surface of the plastic pipe and to the outer surface of the groove of the bushing by mechanically sealing it in the axial direction with a pusher.

EFFECT: invention improves the reliability of fixing the ends of the plastic pipe from axial displacement and sealing the cavity between the plastic pipe and the metal pipe, a lining plastic pipe.
