SUBSTANCE: invention relates to image processing. Image processing method comprises the steps of: selecting content-associated subpixels in an image to be processed; acquiring an initial color scale value of each selected subpixel; adding at least one digit to the end of the initial color scale values, and assigning any of preset numerical values to each added digit to obtain a processed color scale value; replacing the initial color scale value with the corresponding processed color scale value; with the step of assigning a predetermined value to each added digit comprises: determining the associated subpixels in a predetermined association area of each subpixel, adding at least one digit to the end of the initial color scale values, and assigning 0 to each added digit to obtain a processed color scale value, with each associated sub-pixel being given the same number of digits; the definition of the processed subpixel color gradation value, according to the range of values.
