FIELD: tombstones.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to tombstones of collapsible monuments intended for decorating graves of the deceased when they are buried in the ground, and to the method of assembling tombstones. Tombstone is a prefabricated box consisting of four side plates, two of them are longitudinal, and the other two front and rear transverse, connected together by fasteners, while the rear board is made in height less than all others; a tombstone that is a rectangular parallelepiped, made of natural stone and equipped with through holes for fixing to the box; and a stele, is a product of a predetermined shape, made of a strong rigid material, base of which is provided with at least three blind holes for installing anchors therein and fixing the stele on the tombstone. Method of assembling the gravestone assembly includes: assembling the box, where the sides of the box are placed in an upright position, join the sides with each other by means of corners and bolts, mark out the holes in the grave overlap and their device, install a box to cover the grave in the specified position; installation of the tombstone on the box and the installation of the stele, near it the anchors are placed in the holes of the stele, set the stele in a vertical position on the tombstone, connect the stele, tombstone and a box in a rigid structure by means of fastening elements such as corners, nuts and washers; installation of the back board of the box and its fixation to the box by means of bolts and corners, drawing of fasteners of the whole structure and quality control of the assembly.

EFFECT: technical results are year-round possibility of installation of a monument in a cemetery in any weather conditions, simplicity of assembly, installation and dismantling, ease of construction.
