FIELD: data processing.
SUBSTANCE: invention is intended for recognition of low-speed speech coding (LSSC) protocols. Technical result is achieved by increasing the dimension of measured redundancy coefficient vector ϕZ up to ϕL, L = Z + 2 and taking into account the shift effect of the vector elements ϕL by forming square reference matrix ΦLjet for all J known LSSC protocols, j = 1, 2 …, J. To this end, a digital stream Y is received for a predetermined time interval ΔT. Rectangular information matrix YK×L is formed, the rows of which are information blocks placed successively under each other. Redundancy coefficient vector ϕL is calculated, measured vector ϕL is elementwise compared with strings ϕLjet(l) of all J square reference matrices ΦLjet, deviation ΔPj(l) between measured vector ϕL and the rows of all J reference matrices ΦLjet, is determined, it is decided in favor of the jth LSSC protocol, for which minimum deviation ΔPj(l)min of measured vector ϕL from the l-th row of j-th square reference matrix ΦLjet is provided.
EFFECT: technical result is to increase the accuracy of the recognition of the LSSC protocols.
