FIELD: radar ranging and radio navigation.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to radar ranging, direction finding and can be used to detect low flying targets (LFT). Receiving antenna of the measuring device in the form of a digital antenna array receives signals reflected from the surface, which carry information about the position of the LFT, influence of interfering signals is excluded by parallel use of the method of off-axis tracking, maximum likelihood method and off-axis support method with correction that uses the results of current estimates of the reflection coefficient and the phase of the signals reflected from the target.

EFFECT: ability to accurately measure the angle coordinate and determine the trajectory of motion of the LFT in conditions of interfering signals, conditionally representing the antipode of the LFT, antenna array with a wider angular pattern and lower resolution in range.
