FIELD: radiolocation, applicable for measurement of the elevation angle of low-altitude targets (LAT).

SUBSTANCE: preliminarily with the aid of additional radar, optical or some other means measured is the elevation angle of the LAT then measured is the range to the LAT corresponding to the measured elevation angle after that at a further motion of the LAT measured is the range to the LAT and the elevation angle of the LAT is determined by formula: where i-the number of measurement of the range to the LAT and computation of the LAT elevation angle - 6371 km - the Earth radius; - height of the radar antenna.

EFFECT: reduced errors at measurement of elevation angles of low-altitude target.
