FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to polyamide compositions for the production of molded articles. Composition comprises a polyamide, a copolymer of olefin and maleic anhydride, which is an alternating copolymer with a molar ratio of olefin to maleic anhydride of 1:1 and an impact modifier selected from the group consisting of a grafted maleic anhydride elastomer and a grafted maleic anhydride terpolymer. Composition can be prepared by preparing a master batch comprising a copolymer of olefin and maleic anhydride, which is an alternating copolymer with a molar ratio of olefin to maleic anhydride of 1:1, and subsequent compounding of the master batch with a polyamide and impact modifier selected from the group consisting of grafted maleic anhydride grafted and grafted maleic anhydride terpolymer.
EFFECT: technical result is increased toughness at room temperature and at low temperature in combination with additional excellent thermal characteristics, tensile and flexural characteristics.
