FIELD: machine building.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of screw rotors for volumetric hydraulic machines. Pair of cooperating helical rotors comprises male and female rotor. Male and female rotors have spirally extending blades and intermediate grooves. Blades and intermediate grooves of female rotor are designed to engage with blades and grooves of male rotor. Enclosing rotor has pitch radius that forms pitch circle. Each groove of female rotor has first side comprising at least three concave sections 12, 13, 14. Section 12 comprises groove point 16 radially closest to the center or is directly adjacent to it. Section 13 has the shape of circle arc with radius such that its center is located outside pitch circle. Section 14 has the shape of circle arc with radius such that its center is located outside pitch circle. Section radius 14 exceeds the radius of section 13, which exceeds the radial distance between pitch circle and radially closest to the center point 16 of the groove.
EFFECT: invention is aimed at providing low pressure to the surface in contact zone between rotors.
