SUBSTANCE: flight management system, landing approach and touchdown system for helicopters contains automated workplace of flight control officer, adapter unit via digital channels, adapter unit and processing of raw data, central calculators, documentation facilities of information connected through the main network. Automated workplace of flight control officer contains graphic stations, main control computer, video server, a device for displaying and entering information, cursor control device, keyboard, commutator, management terminal of flight technical arrangements, and management terminal of communication connected in a specific manner.
EFFECT: provides the expansion of functional capabilities of flight management system for take-off, flight control, touchdown of helicopters not equipped with short-distance aids, automation of control processes, improving efficiency of decision-making by the flight control officer, and improving flight safety.
