FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: method for generating information on classification of audio and information about head movements is performed using an electronic device for sleep apnea diagnosis. At the same time, the audible sounds produced by the patient are recorded by a grid of microphones and audio information is formed representing the recorded audible sounds. Audio information is processed by a first beam former having a first adaptive speed and forming the first audio information and the first noise information from the audio information. Audio information is processed by a second beam former having a second adaptation speed that is slower than the first adaptive response and generating second audio information and second noise information from the audio information. Information on the classification of audio is formed using an audio classification block based on the first audio information. Head motion information is generated by the head movement detecting unit based on at least one of the second audio information, first noise information and second noise information. Diagnosis is established using the diagnostic block for sleep apnea based on information about the classification of audio and information about head movements.
EFFECT: higher evaluation accuracy of sleep apnea is achieved.
