FIELD: transportation.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to pipeline transportation of oil and oil products. Method for producing a reagent for reducing the hydrodynamic resistance of a turbulent liquid hydrocarbon stream in pipelines with solvent recycle includes the polymerization of C6-C14 alpha-olefins in the presence of a catalyst, microspheric titanium trichloride and a catalyst activator – a mixture of diethylaluminum chloride and triisobutylaluminum in a monomer medium with the addition of a saturated aliphatic hydrocarbon of the C6-C18 composition with a monomer conversion of 96.0–99.5 wt. %. Resulting polymer has a molecular weight of more than 107 atomic mass units. Polymer is dissolved in the solvent to a concentration of 20–50 wt. %. Then, extrusion equipment is molded to particles of 0.5–1.0 mm in size with a medium that does not dissolve the polymer of the liquid. Resulting polymer dispersion is concentrated by distillation at atmospheric or reduced pressure to obtain a polymer dispersion in the form of a reactant. Vapors of the solvent to be separated after the concentration step are diluted and reused to dissolve another portion of the crushed polymer.
EFFECT: obtaining a polymer dispersion in a convenient way with a low cost of the reagent, which reduces the hydrodynamic resistance of the flow of liquid hydrocarbons in the pipelines and, as a result, increases the pipeline capacity, reduces transportation costs.
