FIELD: electrical engineering.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to railway transport. Track-bound vehicle comprises an on-board cooling system having cooling liquid circulation main loop (2) having pump (6), heat sink (3) and heat exchanger (7'). By-pass (9) is configured to conduct a minor portion of the cooling liquid flow past part of said main loop (2). Portion of bypass (9) forms expansion vessel (10), configured to have air-cushion (14) in the volume thereof above the surface of said cooling liquid therein. Expansion vessel has porous body (22) surrounding a rising portion of inlet tube (16) with apertures.

EFFECT: cooling system can be used to cool the inverters to control power supply.
